Signature Aviation operates the fixed-base operation at Miami International, on the airport’s northwest side along the NW 36th Street corridor, away from the passenger terminals entirely. Arriving here means customs handled at the FBO for international tails, a lounge instead of a concourse, and a curb that holds three cars, one of which should be yours.
MIA’s advantage over the outlying executive fields is position. Brickell and the financial district are about 9 miles east, often under 20 minutes. South Beach is 20 to 30 minutes across the causeway. The Fisher Island ferry dock at Terminal Island is a similar run, and we sequence the sailing before your flight has left its origin. For a principal landing at 4 p.m. with a 5 p.m. call in a Brickell boardroom, Signature MIA is the correct field and we are the correct car.
The operational details differ from OPF and FXE. Access is tightly controlled; vehicles are logged, and international arrivals clear CBP at the facility, which can add minutes we plan around rather than apologize for. Our chauffeurs carry the passenger manifest details the FBO expects. The handoff from cabin to cabin is brief and unphotographed.
We also run the reverse leg daily: residences and hotels to Signature for departure, luggage weighed and loaded, watches set to wheels-up minus twenty. Late is impossible. Early is merely quiet.
