Yacht Marinas

Two addresses carry most of Miami’s serious yachting: Miami Beach Marina and Island Gardens Deep Harbour. We serve both, dockside.

Distance
11 miles from MIA
Travel time
20-30 minutes
Fare
from $75marina transfers; airport runs from $89

Miami Beach Marina stretches along Alton Road at the mouth of Government Cut, four hundred slips within walking distance of South of Fifth, handling vessels to 250 feet. Island Gardens Deep Harbour, on Watson Island, was built for the next size up: deep-draft berths for superyachts in the heart of the bay, minutes from both downtown and the beach. Different docks, different security procedures, the same expectation of ground transport that arrives where the dockmaster says and when the captain wants.

For owners and guests, the work is timing. A vessel clearing Government Cut at six will have guests on the dock by 6:40 or so; the cars should be standing at the marina office before the lines are ashore. From either marina, Miami International is 20 to 30 minutes, the FBOs slightly more, Bal Harbour half an hour north. We hold vehicles through dinner ashore and return crews of any size with the Sprinter.

For captains and crew, the work is logistics. Provisioning runs, crew changes at MIA and FLL, a chief stew who needs three stops done in ninety minutes. We quote it plainly, invoice the boat or the management company, and keep the same chauffeurs on your account so the security gate recognizes the face.

Charter season compresses everything. Book the season, not the day, and the cars are simply there.
